Q: When are your Ghost Walk Haunted
History Tours?
A: Our ghost tour season is as
follows:
January -
Marach Thursday, Friday & Saturday.
Evening tours at: 7:00pm &
9:00pm.
We will not conduct tours in the rain.
Q: How do I purchase tickets?
A: All tours require a reservation with Augusta Ghost Walks. You
can make your reservations by calling our Ghost Walks Reservations "Hauntline" at (706) 868-5867. One of our professional "Ghost Reservation" specialists will gladly assist you
with your reservation, evening choice, and preferred tour times. Due to
the popularity of this Ghost Walk tour, our reservation phone line may be busy
at the time you call. In that event, please leave us a detailed message
with the number in your group and when you would like your tour and we will be
in contact you as soon as possible.
Q: Where is the Ghost Walk departure point?
A: All ghost walk tours depart from
the corner of the historic Marion Building, 739 Broad Street, next door to the
Imperial Theater.
Q:
Do I need to buy tickets in advance?
A: All tours require a reservation with Augusta Ghost Walks. You
can make your reservations by calling our Ghost Walks Reservations "Hauntline" at (706) 868-5867Advance purchase required to guarantee tickets. You may pay cash
if you have made advance reservations.
Q: What
is the minimum number of people for a group tour?
A: Six (6)
adults.
Q: What
if it rains?
A:
Because Augusta Ghost Walks is dedicated in delivering a quality tour experience
with an emphasis on safety
as well as entertainment, we do not conduct tours on rainy evenings. If we have to cancel a tour, Tour
Guests who have bought tickets from "The Original" Augusta Ghost Walks may be
refunded their money or rescheduled for another evening tour.
Q: If I am running late for the
tour - will you wait for me?
A: NO. We
must start the tour on time because of the number of tours that we handle on an
evening basis. In addition, our other Ghost Walk Guests will be ready for
their tour and would prefer not to wait. Please give yourself plenty of time to get to the tour
and find parking! We
suggest you join us at least 10 minutues before the tour
begins.
Q: How long is the Augusta
Ghost Walks tour?
A: Our ghost tour takes about 90-minutes, and is 1.8 mile in
distance.
Q: Is there parking
near the tour?
A: During
the eveing hours (barring any special Downtown Augusta events, there is
available center-street parking, on Broad Street, near the tour departure point.

Q: Will we be going inside any buildings on this Ghost Walks
Tour?
A: Although most of
our local ghosts prefer to dwell indoors (well, don't
you?) our tour focuses
primarily on the outside the buildings to tell the stories. Therefore, we do not venture
inside any buildings during this walking tour.
Q: Is the Augusta Ghost Walks tour suitable for
children?
A: Yes! Amoung the many reasons why "The Original" Augusta Ghost Walks
was founded, was the intent to provide an quality entertainment experience for
all members of the family. Please note: As storytellers we are prone
to utilize the element of surprise to enhance our Ghost Walks experience.
Nevertheless, our tour is an informative and fun time for your entire
family!
